Hi guys.. Learn what CRM is etc. Process Manager etc. Or would you want to specialise in front end customisations, Clear Basic vb style java etc, again, or both? Going on all of the courses at Clarify, would be ideal, i think most of the people i know within the Clarify sector, came from doing the courses originally. Also learn how to use the baseline application. I could keep going on for ages, but perhaps if you told me which areas you are most interested in?
You ask a lot of good questions. Amdocs did reply to me yesterday, so I may be making headway there. We are using a heavily modified version of ClearLogistics.
I was not part of the original implementation, but am part of the re-implementation team. I have two associates who know how to use the app, but do not have any formal training. They have been reading the help files and the manual's.
Their responsibities will include documentation and creating workflows for the team of developers - they will not be writing any code. I do need them to have a solid understanding of what ClearLogistics can and cannot do. Our business also uses ClearSupport, but not at this location. We only use ClearLogistics. At some point, I want to use Depot Repair as I believe that to be a vital piece for us.
My two people will be the system "superusers" for lack of a better term. The way we originally set up the program leaves us at the mercy of the development team when we need changes and it's a waste of programmer time. Clarify is a very powerful system which we just need to learn how to use. I am waiting for Amdocs to tell me if they will schedule classes soon. Then they need ClearLogistics and Depot Repair. It's more than 7 months i have been working with this company.
