The symbols, which are part of the cultural life of the society, are not only used to decorate objects and objects on the surface, but also as an important communication tool in social sharing. However, the Motifs, which are often seen as the surface decoration form, also consist of symbols with material and spiritual meaning. Motifs, because they are unique sources of the cultures they come from, together with the symbols they contain, culture, culture, as well as differences, similar to each other and even have the same meaning motifs.

In this study, symbols and motifs similar between Ukrainian and Turkish cultures have been researched and not only visually analogies of these motifs, but also their meaning, form and mystical and religious characteristics. In the historical process, the cultural creations of these two distinct cultures, which are in a common living space but which have different geographical cultural and belief systems, are shown.

Different expressions of the symbols and motifs discussed, ranging from the surface to which they are used, shapes, colors and meanings, or their contradictions, will be the main theme of the study. Les livres des retours. His novels explore this phenomenon in terms of literary aesthetics as well as thematic, narrative and discursive concerns by forging peculiar analogies between form and content.

This paper examines the motives of the independent volunter's support toward the electability of Prabowo-Sandi in the presidential election.

There three motives which will be used as the indicators: incentive-material motive, incentive-solidarity motive, and incentive-idealism motive. The Indonesian Millennial Movement GMI is being the selected case of the research because this organization is one of the active independent movements among millennials which campaigns for the electability of Prabowo-Sandi to the public in Yogyakarta Special Region.

It is a qualitative research by applying the case study approach to find out the motives of GMI's support in winning Prabowo-Sandi in the presidential election.

Documentary and in-depth interview were utilized as the data-gathering. The finding demonstrates that GMI combines all three motives in supporting the candidate. Thus, GMI had a mix incentive. The narratives that exist in a tradition from the past to the present are regarded as the common heritage of human consciousness and carry traces from the inner world of human beings.

These traces manifest themselves as motifs in narratives. Motifs make up the roof of a narrative by their nature. Thanks to them, narratives continue their existence as an organism and play an active role in the creation of new narratives. In parallel with the process of mankind's domination on earth, narratives have become increasingly unlike each other. Although the themes and heroes of these narratives are different, the motifs always remain the same as they serve as building block in the creation of the narrative by the narrator.

Thus, the motifs of the narrative must first be determined in order to be able to analyze a narrative properly. Determining the motifs of a narrative can be a very easy task for a folklorist.

However, the fact that the motifs in narratives are not determined according to a certain theory brings along some difficulties for later studies. Recognizing this problem, the folklorist Stith Thompson has developed a pretty useful method in his work titled Motif-Index of Folk-Literature MIFL in order to classify the motifs in a systematic way.

The method, employed in this work, has been accepted by many motif researchers and has been used in similar studies done afterwards. However, in the implementation phase of this method, researchers may encounter some problems such as "showing the motifs in a practical way in the most appropriate place within the text, contributing to this huge motif atlas by placing the motifs in accordance with the thematic order in the MIFL, presenting the motifs identified as a result of the review adequately at the end of the narrative, and indexing them at the end of the study".

The aim of this study is to find solutions to such problems and add new motifs to MIFL to facilitate the way that new motifs can be seen by the researchers. This study first introduces the basic working principle of the method developed by Thompson, which is used to classify motifs under 23 headings in alphabetical order and code them from general to specific in numerals.

Then, on the basis of the available data, the pros and cons of the method were emphasized, an opinion was presented about the applicability of this method especially for the Turkish narratives, and solutions were proposed to some problems encountered in the implementation of this method.

These suggestions are listed under 7 items in the form of a guideline: 1. Featuring motifs with their code numbers in MIFL, where they are used within the narrative. Demonstrating that a motif not included in the MIFL is a new motif.

Opening an additional item to classify similar motifs not found in the narrative subject to MIFL based motif analysis. Displaying the motifs used more than once in the narrative in the most appropriate place within the text. Showing motifs where they act or use their power in the narrative rather than where they are stationarily mentioned.

Creating an index for the narrative or narratives subject to the motif analysis. Using the motif findings presented in the index part collectively in motif frequency studies. After giving information on these items, the sample evaluations are demonstrated in practice under each item. At the end of the study, the proposed arrangement in the implementation of this method and the functioning of the additional motifs were shown on a full folktale text.

Bock, states that human behavior relies on cultural basis, starts his book named "Cultural Basis of Human Behavior" by saying "all about anthropology is psychological" and finishes by saying "all about psychology is cultural". It is possible to say that the Book of Dede Korkut, considering as one of the most important heritages of Turkish culture, is almost a book of testing.

Moving from the thesis of Philip K. Bock, the testing motif and its functions is discussed within the twelve narratives in this paper. Bock, states that human behavior relies on cultural basis, starts his book. Rabia Uckun. The Russian formalism is an approach was introduced at the beginning of 20th century and those who offered such a theory wanted to find a scientific method in literary criticism. They believed that the literary work itself should be They believed that the literary work itself should be criticized instead of its author and the literary nature of the work should be considered as the main subject.

Adopting such a method, they propelled the study of literary works to the issues of Form and Technique. Motif is a literary device that is usually used to enrich a text. It has not only to do with any recurring element within a literary work but with the creation of certain effects on the reader. The contemporary Iraqi poet, Yahya Samavi, The contemporary Iraqi poet, Yahya Samavi, has used motif not only as a decorative device but as a means to convey ideas dominant in his poetry. One of these dominant motives which reflect his life and mood has to do with the recurrent of charismatic characters who own extraordinary characteristics.

This motif which plays a significant role in his poetry deviates from its ordinary function to develop new meaning and point of view. In this descriptive study which focuses on characters from history and their reflexes in the Samavi's poetry, characters such as Moatasem, Salah al-Din al-Ayyoobi, and Reghal, and characters from Islam such as Imam Hossein and Abi Dzar al-Ghefari are emphasized.

And the poet has found a great power in bringing about these characters to enrich his feelings and images in his works. Samavi perseveres to encourage his addressee to be strong in will, to be patient and to show resistance.

Rasool Balawi. Alan Dundes is an internationally welknown folklorist and theorist. He suggests that a serious folklore collector must record texture, text and context for explaining the meaning of any form of folklore.

Neither text nor texture nor context alone or leaving any of these levels of analysis, collection of folklore becomes meaningless. The text collected in original dialect including notes and tone as well as gestures may bring meaning to global arena when texture and context together with all of the in-depth features are clearly documented.

Rapid depopulation of rural areas caused overpopulation in urban areas. This led to cultural changes and made it inevitably necessary to define the new folk and folklore by the folklorists. The fact that Alan Dundes defines the public as "any group of people whatsoever who share at least one common factor" has enabled the folklorists to examine the cultural products that have emerged in cities as a result of the developments and changes in regard to migration and urbanization.
